Google for Startups has introduced the “AI Academy” to advance AI innovation across Pakistan and the Asia Pacific region.
This initiative is a significant part of Google’s effort to support emerging technology communities globally.
The AI Academy, building on the Google Chrome Book Initiative, will partner with SIFC to create cross-border collaborations in Pakistan.
The program aims to support over 20 startups in developing AI-based products with guidance from international experts.
Google will offer up to $350,000 in cloud credits as startup funding. Farhan S. Qureshi, Google’s Country Director for Pakistan, highlighted that the initiative underscores Google’s dedication to advancing AI throughout the Asia Pacific region.
The program is poised to position Pakistan as a key player in global AI innovation, potentially boosting the country’s IT sector and overall economic growth.
