The Capital Development Authority (CDA) decided to use digital advertising boards like those in Times Square, New York.
This decision came from a meeting led by CDA Chairman Mohammad Ali Randhawa to discuss the city’s new advertising rules for 2024. They want to update how advertising works.
Senior CDA officials and other important people attended the meeting. Mr. Randhawa directed everyone to finish the 2024 advertising rules quickly. He wants to replace old ads with digital boards all over the city.
They talked about putting digital boards on highways, streets, shopping areas, and bus stops. They also plan to show ads on buses and bridges for people walking.
Mr. Randhawa wants the digital ads to be eco-friendly, like in Times Square, New York.
He said the money made from digital ads will go to making the city better.
