Google for Startups is launching its new AI Academy program to support AI startups in Pakistan and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
This program will unite over 20 startups working on AI technologies, fostering a robust AI community in APAC and encouraging cross-border innovation and partnerships. By sharing ideas, expertise, and resources, the program aims to advance AI solutions and position APAC as a leader in AI.
Farhan S Qureshi, Google Pakistan’s Country Director, said:
“Our AI Academy program demonstrates Google’s commitment to supporting AI growth in Asia-Pacific. We hope that local startups in Pakistan will use this opportunity to enhance their AI solutions and strengthen the regional AI community.”
Selected startups will benefit from:
- Tailored mentorship: Personalized guidance from Google’s AI experts.
- Google Cloud credits: Up to $350,000 to support their AI projects.
- Community building opportunities: The chance to connect and collaborate with other AI startups in APAC.
AI Academy is designed to accelerate AI product development by assisting startups in creating a “proof of concept” and a product roadmap. By utilizing Google Cloud tools, startups can swiftly integrate their AI solutions into their products.
