Tennis Star Zainab Ali Naqvi’s Sudden Demise Shakes Tennis Community

In a devastating turn of events, 17-year-old tennis sensation Zainab Ali Naqvi, representing Karachi, met an untimely demise during her participation in the ITF Junior Tournament in Islamabad.

Tragic Loss:

Zainab, renowned for her exceptional talent on the court, had traveled to Islamabad to compete in the esteemed tournament. Despite her promising skills, tragedy struck as she tragically passed away after her match, leaving the tennis community in shock and sorrow.

The Tennis Federation reported that Zainab was found lifeless after breaking the door to her room when she didn’t return from the shower.

Tragic Loss:

Zainab’s contributions to the Karachi tennis scene had garnered her praise and admiration, making her loss deeply felt within the community.

The entire tennis community, including the newly elected Pakistan Tennis Federation President Aisamul Haq Qureshi, former president Salim Saifullah and Karachi Tennis Association have been left shocked and heartbroken but nothing compares to the grief of Zainab’s father, mother, and brother, who is four years younger than her.

A somber prayer was held in her memory, and in a touching tribute, matches for the day were postponed, with a moment of silence observed by players, parents, coaches, and officials alike.

Zainab Ali Naqvi’s passion for tennis will forever be cherished, and may she rest in eternal peace.
