Azra Farooq has quickly gained recognition in women’s volleyball for her impressive skills and dedication.
Her recent performance at the Kings Cup Volleyball tournament in the Maldives has not only earned her accolades but also brought pride to her country.
Representing MK Club, Azra was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament. She played a pivotal role in leading her Milton Keynes-based team to victory in all four matches.
Her outstanding play earned her the best player title in each game and helped secure the tournament championship for her team.
Azra’s individual achievements were exceptional, as she collected six trophies: four Player of the Match awards, one MVP award, and one Top 6 Player award.
These accomplishments highlight the potential of Pakistani women athletes to shine on the global stage.
This was Azra’s second time playing with a club in the Maldives.
Previously, she and Muqaddas Bukhari made history as some of the first Pakistani women signed by a volleyball club abroad when they joined Al-Fawz Club for the MZC Ladies’ Cup.
