In a powerful display of skill and composure, Pakistan has made headlines by toppling a snooker giant on the international stage.
Pakistani cueist Babar Masih defeated former Indian world champion Pankaj Advani in the Q School Asian-Oceania Tournament.
Babar Masih, hailing from Rawalpindi, Pakistan, beat Pankaj Advani with a frame score of 4-1. Advani has previously been a three-time IBSF World Champion.
The top two players from the tournament will earn entry into the professional snooker circuit. Babar Masih will now face a Chinese cueist in the final, which will be played as a best-of-seven frames match.
