The Pakistan U18 Volleyball team has achieved a major milestone by winning the bronze medal at the 15th Asian Men’s U18 Volleyball Championship in Bahrain.
This accomplishment highlights the growth and potential of volleyball in the country.
The team displayed impressive skill and teamwork, securing a 3-0 victory over Japan in the third-place match.
The set scores were 25-13, 25-21, and 25-17, underscoring their dominance on the court.
This win places Pakistan in third place out of 16 participating teams from countries such as Bahrain, Thailand, Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Chinese Taipei, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, Iran, China, Lebanon, the Philippines, India, Korea, and Kuwait.
Winning the bronze medal represents a significant achievement for Pakistan volleyball, reflecting the sport’s development in the country.
The success is credited to the dedication of the players, coaches, and the Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF). Head Coach Saeed Ahmed Khan and Chairman Ch Muhammad Yaqoob played key roles in this achievement.
Moreover, the team’s performance has earned them a spot in the upcoming World Championship.
Meanwhile, China won the title by defeating Iran 3-2 in a thrilling final. The match scores were 23-25, 25-17, 25-19, 20-25, and 15-10.
