The National Bank Stadium is getting a major makeover, and it’s all set to be ready by January 31! The renovation, which kicked off on October 22, is quickly shaping up with some exciting upgrades already in the works.
Bilal Chauhan, the Project Director, spilled the details: digital screens will be placed where cricket icons Wasim Akram and Intikhab Alam sit, ensuring no one misses the action. And as per PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi’s plan, the perimeter fencing will be gone after the Champions Trophy and PSL 10 events. Plus, the stadium’s capacity is getting a serious boost to 30,000, with over 40 hospitality boxes already done.
But that’s not all – a pedestrian bridge is being built to make access smoother, so fans can park at China Ground and walk straight into the stadium. Get ready for a next-level stadium experience!
