A furious Shoaib Akhtar blasted Pakistan’s team after their 202-run humiliation against West Indies — their first ODI series loss to them in 34 years.
“We had world-class talent and played as a team. Now it’s just about personal stats,” the Rawalpindi Express raged, urging players to put the country first.
He demanded a complete mindset overhaul, warning that Pakistan must adapt to modern cricket and tough conditions:
“If the ball moves a little, our batters collapse. You can’t take Rawalpindi pitches everywhere.”
