David Warner, Kane Williamson , Adam Milne, Mohammad Nabi strengthen Karachi squad
In a thrilling turn of events at the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 draft, Karachi Kings have successfully completed their squad for the much-awaited 10th season. The team made some bold moves, bringing in top-tier talent to strengthen their lineup.
Karachi Kings made waves by selecting Australian star David Warner as their first pick in the Platinum round. Warner, with his impressive 12,727 T20 runs, will bring his vast experience to the Kings’ batting order, making him one of the marquee players this season.
The Kings also strengthened their pace attack by choosing Adam Milne in the Platinum two round. Milne, known for his pace and skill, has played 186 T20s, taking 213 wickets. His inclusion will bolster Karachi’s bowling options. To further enhance their squad, Karachi used a Wild Card pick on Mohammad Abbas Afridi, the standout bowler for Multan Sultans in PSL 2023, who took 23 wickets and was part of the team of the tournament.
In the supplementary round, Karachi Kings added New Zealand’s Kane Williamson, bringing more international experience to the squad alongside Warner and Milne. The Kings also secured Mohammad Nabi, a valuable all-rounder from Afghanistan, who will add depth to the team.
With the PSL 2024 season set to run from April 8 to May 19, Karachi Kings are looking to build on their 2020 championship win and challenge for the title once again.
