Naseem Shah, Pakistan’s young fast bowling sensation, just revealed his top 3 all-time favorite wickets, and honestly, they’re straight fire. From breaking records to taking down cricket’s biggest names, these moments show why Naseem’s one to watch.
Since making his debut for Pakistan in 2019 against Australia, Naseem’s been on a roll. Just a few months later, in February 2020, he became the youngest bowler ever to take a Test hat-trick at just 16 years and 359 days old, and he hasn’t looked back.
With 60 wickets in 20 Tests, 50 wickets in 28 ODIs, and 25 wickets in 30 T20Is, Naseem’s proving he’s a beast in all formats.
In a recent podcast with PCB, Naseem picked his top 3 wickets. He said Test wickets hit different, but his absolute favorite was taking out New Zealand’s Kane Williamson. “You gotta be on point to get him out. Felt amazing when I got him,” he said.
Next up was Aussie legend Steve Smith, and his third pick was New Zealand’s Devon Conway, whom he bowled out in an ODI in Karachi. “The ball was swinging, and I nailed his middle stump. It was a huge wicket for us to break the partnership,” Naseem explained.
