In a wild new threat, Bollywood icon Salman Khan has been warned that his ride is getting blown up with a bomb, sending shockwaves through the industry and getting cops involved.
The threat came through WhatsApp, sent to the official number of the Worli Transport Department. The message said Salman would be targeted at his home, with his vehicle being the bomb’s main target.
Police quickly launched an investigation to track down the person behind the scary warning. Khan has been dealing with death threats for a while now, many of them connected to the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The gang’s been after him for years, supposedly because of his involvement in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case.
Things got even crazier when two gunmen, linked to the Bishnoi gang, opened fire outside Salman’s Galaxy apartment in Bandra last year. Later, Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, Anmol, claimed responsibility for the shooting.
The drama didn’t stop there. A suspect, arrested in the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique, spilled the beans that Salman was the Bishnoi gang’s original target. But since Khan’s place was too well-guarded, they switched plans and aimed for his close friend and former lawmaker instead.
