In a legendary blunder on a legendary stage, former Aussie pacer John Hastings just delivered what might be the worst over in cricket history — and technically, it wasn’t even an over!
Playing for Australia Champions in the World Championship of Legends T20 against Pakistan Champions, the 39-year-old bowled 18 deliveries — including a jaw-dropping 12 wides and 1 no-ball — and still didn’t finish his over!
Captain Brett Lee tossed him the 8th over while defending a lowly 74 runs, but Hastings completely lost the plot. Before he could get through six legal deliveries, Pakistan wrapped up the chase — with the ball going everywhere except where it was supposed to.
Pakistan won by 10 wickets, while Hastings walked off with what fans are calling the “longest incomplete over in cricket history.”
