Former captain of the South African cricket team AB de Villiers took the Indian social media user who made fun of Pakistani skipper Babar Azam’s English to task.
The ICC T20 World Cup has begun, and prior to Pakistan’s first match, AB conducted interviews with some famous cricketers on his YouTube channel, including Babar Azam.
During the interview, Babar answered several questions, including those related to AB de Villiers’ career.
A user from India made fun of the English spoken by Babar Azam in a comment on the posted video on YouTube.
User named Rithik Guruvu commented, ‘After listening to AB, it’s difficult to control my laughter when hearing Babar Azam’s English.’
Following this, the user added a laughing emoji, prompting a response from the South African cricket legend directed at the individual named Rithik.
AB de Villiers commented, “Babar’s command of English is evidently superior to my proficiency in Urdu, notwithstanding his exceptional batting skills, which I consider to be of greater significance.”
