$100 Reward per Player – PHF Honors Pakistan’s Bronze Medal with a ”Generous” Prize

-

PHF President Tariq Bugti has bestowed a “generous” $100 reward per player on Pakistan’s hockey team for their third-place finish in the Asian Champions Trophy (ACT).

This “grand” gesture is meant to recognize their podium achievement. Kudos to PHF for this exceptional display of generosity!

The Pakistan hockey team has recently made headlines not only for winning bronze at the ACT but also for various issues. Challenges included coach Roelant Oltmans leaving mid-tournament, missing key players, and traveling to China on borrowed tickets.

Despite these setbacks, the team surpassed Japan, Korea, and Malaysia to finish third, falling to China in the semifinals. In light of this “remarkable” achievement, PHF President Tariq Bugti has announced a reward of $100 per player.
