Famous Pakistani drama actress Nadia Afghan has stated that renowned writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar is an insignificant writer, and she will never work with him due to his behavior.
In a podcast interview, the actress shared that Khalil-ur-Rehman is a strange personality, and she will not work with him on any drama.
Recalling an incident from the past, she said that 25 years ago when she was new to the drama industry, she once went to the studio with senior actress Samina Ahmed. While Samina was outside, she left Nadia in a room.
Nadia Afghan recounted that there was a man sitting on a sofa with his feet up, smoking a cigarette. When she greeted him, he asked, “Who are you? Are you here to work?”
During the conversation, Nadia asked Samina about the man, and she replied, “He is a drama writer.”
Nadia mentioned that she decided that day that someone who lacks basic manners, such as sitting properly, cannot possibly be a good writer. She vowed never to work with him.
Nadia Afghan concluded that Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar is not a great writer, capable of penning exceptional scripts for dramas or films.
