The king of controversy is at it again! Pakistan’s most outspoken playwright, Khalilur Rehman Qamar, has lit up the industry with explosive remarks—hitting back at critics specially Nadia Khan, Atiqa Odho and Marina Khan and calling out big names without hesitation.

“Nadia Khan has nothing to do with acting. She doesn’t have command over Urdu or English. I’ve never even thought of working with her.”
He underlined that the drama industry breathes in Urdu, and true actors must respect and master the language.

Showing respect for veterans Maria Khan and Atiqa Odho, Qamar still gave a blunt reminder: polish your Urdu.
“I enjoyed Maria in Tanhaiyan and Dhoop Kinare, and recall Atiqa in Dasht and Najat. InshaAllah, if they improve their Urdu, I’d love to work with them,”
he remarked.
