The drama premiered in July, marking Fahad Mustafa’s return to television after a decade. Due to overwhelming popularity, the final episode was screened in cinemas on November 5, with theaters in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad, and other cities quickly selling out. In response to demand, screenings were extended until midnight as fans flocked to see Mustafa’s character, Mustafa, and Hania Aamir’s Sharjeena, reach a heartwarming conclusion.
