Indian rapper and singer Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, known as Badshah, has officially ended his prolonged feud with fellow artist Honey Singh, bringing years of discord to a close.
During his performance at Grafest 2024 in Dehradun, the 38-year-old rapper paused to share his decision to move forward. “There was a time when I held a grudge against someone (Honey Singh) due to a misunderstanding. I don’t want to carry that anymore,” Badshah said.
He continued, “I wasn’t happy with how things turned out, but I’ve realized that when we were together, more people tried to divide us than unite us. Today, I want to move past that and send my best wishes to Honey Singh.”
Honey Singh has yet to respond to Badshah’s statement, but fans are applauding this gesture of reconciliation.
Both artists, recognized as top icons in India’s music industry, began their journey in 2006 as part of the rap group Mafia Mundeer, alongside Raftaar, Ikka, and Lil Golu. The group delivered hits like Khol Botal, Begani Naar Badi, and Dilli Ke Deewane before parting ways over personal differences.
While occasional tensions persisted, such as a recent comment by Honey Singh during a reality show where he dismissed competition in the rap scene, Badshah has consistently expressed joy over Singh’s return to music. This public truce marks a refreshing new chapter for both artists and their fans.
