Stampede at Pushpa Screening-Arjun Donates Rs. 2 Crore to Victim’s Family

-

\In a heartfelt gesture following the tragic stampede during the screening of Pushpa in Hyderabad, actor Allu Arjun and the film’s production team have pledged a total of Rs. 2 crore to support the family of the woman who tragically passed away.

Allu Arjun will personally contribute Rs. 1 crore, while Mytri Movie Makers, the company behind Pushpa, and director Sukumar will each donate Rs. 50 lakh to help the family recover from this devastating loss.

In a separate development, Allu Arjun’s father, veteran producer Allu Aravind, visited a hospital where a boy injured in the stampede is being treated. After speaking with the doctors, he was relieved to hear that the boy is now recovering and can breathe independently.

The situation has also led to increased security at Allu Arjun’s residence after all six individuals involved in the stampede were granted bail. The incident has sparked political controversy, with the BJP accusing the attackers of having ties to CM Revanth Reddy’s Kodangal assembly constituency based on photographic evidence.

Chief Minister Reddy has condemned the attack and urged the police to take strict action to maintain order.

The stampede occurred after Allu Arjun’s surprise visit to the Pushpa screening, which caused a chaotic surge of fans. During the commotion, a woman named Revathi and her son Sri Tej lost consciousness, with Revathi later being declared dead upon arrival at the hospital.
