Hania Aamir, Pakistan’s sweetheart and showbiz sensation, recently spilled the tea on Instagram about why she had to bounce from a meet-and-greet event in Dallas, Texas.
The actress, who was there to promote her drama Kabhi Mein Kabhi Tum with co-star Fahad Mustafa, explained that things took a dramatic turn after one of the event organizers misbehaved with her manager.
In her Instagram Story, Hania shared her disappointment, saying, “Everyone saw videos of me walking through the crowd and snapping pics, everything was great. But when I was heading back to my seat, I overheard one of the organizers verbally attacking my manager. I had to step in and tell him he couldn’t talk to her like that. Fahad, being the gentleman he is, also checked in on her.”
But the drama didn’t end there. The same organizer came after Hania and her team once they started taking photos with fans backstage. The situation got so out of hand that her fans had to step in and hold the guy back!
“When we started snapping photos backstage, he came running after us, yelling at us to leave and calling us names. He even tried to mess with the security protocols and kept insulting us. It got so crazy that people had to hold him back. Our promoter, Arif Khan, quickly rushed us out of there, and we got ourselves a ride back to the hotel,” Hania explained.
Hania also took the opportunity to deliver some wisdom. “No matter who you are, you don’t get to disrespect anyone. Just because women work in male-dominated industries doesn’t mean we’ll let people get away with treating us badly. We will always stand up for ourselves,” she said.
The Anaa star wrapped up her story by calling out event organizers to keep things respectful and apologizing to her fans for the whole ordeal. She also had a message for the media: “Please, no baseless stories about artists unless you’ve got the facts!”
