Taylor Swift took to Instagram on Tuesday to thank Phoebe Bridgers for joining her on tour in New Jersey. The two singers performed together at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Monday night.
“Thank you @phoebebridgers for being the most incredible tour partner anyone could ask for,” Swift wrote in the caption of a photo of the two singers hugging. “You are a total badass, a total sweetheart, and your voice is a gift to the world. I’m so grateful to have you on this tour.”
Bridgers also took to social media to share her thoughts on the show. “Thank you @taylorswift for having me on your tour,” she wrote. “It was an honor to sing with you and to see all of your beautiful faces every night. I’m so grateful for this experience.”
The two singers have been friends for several years. They first met in 2016 when they were both nominated for Grammy Awards. They have since collaborated on several songs, including “Nothing New” from Swift’s latest album, “Lover.”
Swift’s tour is in support of her seventh studio album, “Lover.” The tour began on June 7 in Glendale, Arizona, and is scheduled to run through August 22 in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
