Amid swirling rumors about their relationship, Abhishek Bachchan has reportedly addressed the ongoing speculation surrounding his marriage to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
The couple, known for keeping their private life away from the public eye, recently found themselves at the center of media attention.
Recent buzz started after Abhishek ‘liked’ a post related to divorce and Aishwarya attended a wedding alone last month.
Although the couple has not officially commented on these rumors, multiple publications suggest that Abhishek spoke to an international media outlet about the situation.
According to The Times of India, Abhishek responded to the speculation during an interview with Bollywood UK Media by displaying his wedding ring and confirming,
“still married.” He reportedly added,
“I don’t have anything to say about those rumors. Unfortunately, things have been blown out of proportion. I understand why—stories need to be written. It’s okay, we’re celebrities; this is part of it.”
Abhishek and Aishwarya, who have been married for 17 years and share a daughter named Aaradhya, have largely kept their marriage private in recent years. Their social media presence is minimal, with occasional posts on special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries.
Despite their low profile, the couple continues to publicly support each other. Abhishek attends Aishwarya’s film events, and Aishwarya is often seen supporting Abhishek’s family, including at the premiere of Agastya Nanda’s debut project, The Archies, where she posed alongside Abhishek, Aaradhya, Agastya, and other Bachchan family members.
