Shah Rukh recalled that just days before his exams, he was studying in the library when his principal walked in and sarcastically said: “If it were up to me, I wouldn’t even let you sit for the exams!”
Young and fiery, SRK shot back: “Then I don’t need to take the exams at all!” — and walked out of the library. The result? Despite completing all his coursework and practicals, he skipped his final exams and lost his degree.
Today, King Khan calls it the biggest mistake of his life: “I wish I had that degree… the lack of education always pinches. Maybe I would’ve been an even bigger superstar if I had completed my studies!”
Shah Rukh urged young people never to abandon education, reminding them that fame and money can’t replace the confidence and strength that comes with learning.
