MUMBAI — Bollywood’s Bhai Jaan Salman Khan has finally broken his silence over claims that he “makes or breaks” careers in the film industry.
During the Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 19, actress Shehnaaz Gill praised Salman for launching many careers while introducing her brother Shehbaz Badesha as a wildcard entry.
But Salman instantly pushed back, saying:
“I am not responsible for anyone’s career—good or bad. That’s in God’s hands. In fact, I’m accused of ruining careers, but if I ruin one, it’ll only be my own!”
The clarification comes at a time when Salman is once again in the spotlight after Dabangg director Abhinav Kashyap reignited their feud, calling him a “gunda” and accusing him of sabotaging careers in Bollywood.
With trademark bluntness, Salman also asked:
“Kaunsa career khaaya maine? (Whose career have I eaten?)”
