The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has uncovered a hit list prepared by notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, with Bollywood star Salman Khan at the top.
Bishnoi’s gang, known for its violent operations, runs a vast criminal network spanning 11 states with over 700 shooters. The recent surge in gang-related violence, especially the assassination of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Baba Siddique, has heightened concerns about the threat posed by the gang.
This revelation emerged during Bishnoi’s interrogation, as the NIA investigates his gang’s role in Siddique’s murder. Bishnoi’s long-standing vendetta against Salman Khan reportedly stems from a 1998 incident when the actor was implicated in the killing of a blackbuck, an animal sacred to the Bishnoi community.
Bishnoi had previously sent an associate to monitor Khan’s residence, but the plan was thwarted when the associate was arrested. Earlier this year, gunmen targeted Khan’s home, but fortunately, no one was harmed.
Apart from Khan, the hit list includes:
- Shaganpreet Singh: Manager of the late singer Sidhu Moose Wala, believed to have sheltered the killers of Bishnoi’s close associate, Vicky Middukhera.
- Mandeep Dhariwal: A gang member linked to Middukhera’s murder, later killed in the Philippines. The Goldy Brar gang, affiliated with Bishnoi, claimed responsibility.
- Kaushal Chaudhary: A jailed gangster from the rival Bambiha gang, accused of supplying weapons to Middukhera’s killers.
- Amit Dagar: An imprisoned gangster involved in multiple murders and extortion, also tied to Middukhera’s murder.
As the investigation deepens, the NIA continues to expose more alarming details about Bishnoi’s criminal operations.
