‘Please Let Shah Rukh’s Films Flop!’-Gauri Khan’s Secret Prayer

-

When you’re married to a Bollywood king, you’d think life would be all glamour and excitement. But for Gauri Khan, the wife of Shah Rukh Khan, it seems like things weren’t always what they appeared to be.

In a hilarious twist, Gauri Khan revealed that during the early days of Shah Rukh’s career, she actually prayed for his films to flop!

In an interview shared by Indian media, referring to a social media post, Gauri Khan admitted that she had absolutely no interest in Shah Rukh’s film career at the start. In fact, when his films were successful, she wasn’t exactly throwing a party.

Gauri went on to explain that her family, who were totally against working in films, eventually started praying for Shah Rukh’s success as he made it big in the industry.

She hilariously mentioned that while her family was cheering him on and watching every movie, she couldn’t have cared less. Instead, she prayed for his films to fail because she was simply fed up with the hustle and bustle of life in Mumbai.

At one point, Shah Rukh even promised that if he didn’t succeed, they’d move back to Delhi, and Gauri was all for it, just wanting to escape the crazy Mumbai life.

And the funniest part? Gauri revealed that even Shah Rukh’s early hits like Deewana and Baazigar didn’t exactly bring her joy. She didn’t even watch them! Talk about a truly unexpected behind-the-scenes story!
