Pakistani actress and producer Ayesha Omar revealed in a recent interview that entering the showbiz industry at a young age exposed her to repeated attempts by men to cross boundaries.
She explained that people often didn’t take her seriously due to two reasons—her youth and her playful personality. “Many men tried to overstep limits, and I had to appear strong so no one thought I was weak,” Ayesha shared.
To protect herself, she adopted a ‘no-nonsense’ attitude, which became even more essential when she moved from Lahore to Karachi and started living alone, as society often perceives single women as vulnerable.
During the show, Ayesha also admitted to some career mistakes, including hosting award shows for which she has yet to receive full payment. She shared these experiences while reflecting on the challenges she faced in her early career.
