The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast some exciting winter weather for the first week of January 2025, bringing rain, snowfall, and a refreshing cold wave to many parts of the country!

Westerly winds are expected to enter Pakistan between January 1 and 6, bringing much-needed rain and snowfall to various regions, making it the perfect start to the new year for those who love winter weather.

Rain and Snowfall Forecast:

Sindh: Upper Sindh will experience some rain between January 3 and 4, adding a cool touch to the region.

Balochistan: Chaman, Pishin, Qila Abdullah, Chagai, Nushki, Kalat, and Harnai will enjoy a snowy start to the year from January 1 to 4.

Punjab: Rain is likely in Islamabad, Pothohar, Sargodha, and central Punjab cities from January 2 to 6, with southern Punjab seeing intermittent rain from January 2 to 5.

Murree and Galiyat: Expect intermittent snowfall to add to the winter magic!

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP): Dir, Swat, Shangla, and Mohmand will enjoy a beautiful blanket of snow from January 1 to 5, while Nowshera, Swabi, Karak, Bannu, and Kohat will see refreshing rain and light snow during this period.

While some road closures and foggy conditions are expected in the higher areas, the snow and rain promise a beautiful, wintry scene across the country, perfect for those who enjoy the cozy vibes of the season.
