These are the highlights of the day when PTI, JI , GDA, JUI-F arranged protests outside Sindh Assembly against ‘election fraud’

In a joint press conference held in Karachi on Friday, the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA), along with Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Jamaat-e-Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Haqiqi (MQM-H) announced plans to stage a protest outside the Sindh Assembly on Saturday.

The announcement was made by key leaders including JDA Chief Coordinator Sadruddin Shah Rashidi, JUI-F Sindh chief Maulana Rashid Soomro, JI Karachi chief Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, and PTI Sindh President Haleem Adil Shaikh.

Meanwhile inaugural session of Sindh Assembly has started amidst tight security . PPP and MQM’s members are present while PTI , Jamat e Islmai , GDA backed MPAs are not participating in today’s session.

To curb opposition’s protests the protest, the police has set up pickets and barriers on Sharea Faisal and citizens are facing severe trafic jamm .

The police arrested 10 workers of the Qaumi Awami Tehreek for protesting outside the assembly, and two JUI supporters from Karsaz. It has also blocked Sharea Faisal with water tankers, containers and check posts to contain the protest, due to which thousands of vehicles could be seen stranded on the road.

Traffic flow on the Hyderabad motorway has been suspended, while JUI supporters have started reaching Karsaz carrying party flags.
