Strengthening Pakistan-Azerbaijan Economic Ties Through CPEC

In a significant meeting aimed at bolstering economic cooperation, Abdul Aleem Khan, Pakistan’s Federal Minister of Privatization, Investment Board, and Communications, discussed the enhancement of bilateral relations with Azerbaijan’s Ambassador, Khizr Faradov.

The discussions emphasized mutual growth and cooperation across key sectors.

Minister Khan underscored the benefits that Central Asian countries, including Azerbaijan, can reap from the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). He highlighted Pakistan’s active efforts to foster trade and business activities with Central Asian nations, sharing insights from his recent trade agreements at the Ten Shen Conference in Tajikistan.

Ambassador Faradov praised Pakistan’s initiatives to promote bilateral cooperation and expressed interest in enhancing professional skills and manpower exchanges between the two countries. He also discussed plans for future visits, including the anticipated visit of the President of Azerbaijan to Pakistan.
