Lahore: Pakistan Railways will run a special train on the occasion of Benazir Bhutto Shaheed’s death anniversary, with a notification for the special train issued by the railway authorities.
Pakistan Railways has decided to operate a special train from Lahore to Garhi Khuda Bakhsh on the anniversary of Benazir Bhutto. The special train will depart from Lahore on December 26.
According to the notification, the special train will depart from Lahore at 1:00 PM on December 26 and will reach Shah Nawaz Bhutto Station at 4:30 AM on December 27.
The special train will depart from Shah Nawaz Bhutto Station at 7:00 PM on December 27 and will return to Lahore at 9:20 AM the following day.
For the special train, Pakistan Railways has started detaching carriages from different trains. On Thursday, four carriages of the Lathani Express were detached.
The Lathani Express typically departs from Lahore Station with 9 carriages, but today it was sent with only 5 carriages.
