Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has announced the allocation of land for the development of new industrial zones, including SITE Karachi Phase-III in Keamari and Nooriabad Industrial Estate-Phase III.
Speaking at an event organized by the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI), the CM revealed that 2,000 acres of land have been designated in Deh Moachko and Gabo Pat for the Karachi industrial project.
He emphasized the ongoing planning and infrastructure development for these zones, highlighting that Nooriabad Phase III is being developed on 1,150 acres of land in collaboration with the private sector.
The Sindh government is committed to fostering industrialization and economic growth by creating a supportive environment for businesses.
Murad Ali Shah also noted the importance of Korangi Industrial Area, describing it as a key hub for manufacturing and exports. The government is actively working on improving road networks, drainage systems, and addressing traffic issues by fast-tracking the construction of the Malir Expressway and a new expressway connecting Karachi Port Terminal to Jam Sadiq Bridge.
Additionally, environmental sustainability is being prioritized through the Green Initiatives and a Clean and Green Campaign, in collaboration with KATI, aimed at reducing industrial pollution and improving air quality.
