“Security for Dignitaries” – Rs. 47.8 Million Spent on 44 Vehicles and 532 Officers

In recent National Assembly session, key details on security expenditures and government initiatives were disclosed.

Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi revealed that 44 vehicles and 532 police officers are assigned to provide 24/7 security for dignitaries, including judges, bureaucrats, and ministers, costing Rs47.89 million in April alone.

Naqvi’s written response outlined that 34 judges are allocated 34 vehicles, costing Rs36.88 million, six vehicles are assigned to bureaucrats at Rs6.933 million, and four vehicles to ministers at Rs4.07 million.

Additionally, 409 gunmen protect judges, 79 guard bureaucrats, and 44 are assigned to ministers.
