“Stand with Ummah, Not the West”-Rana Sanaullah on Abraham Accords

-

In a hard-hitting appearance on Samaa TV’s Nadeem Malik Live, PM’s Adviser Rana Sanaullah declared that Pakistan must back Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and the Arab world instead of bending to Western pressure over the Abraham Accords.

“Pakistan should stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Muslim Ummah, especially when it comes to the Middle East,”

he stated firmly, while hinting at a shift in Iran’s regional posture over the past month.

On Palestine, Sanaullah didn’t hold back:

“Unimaginable atrocities have been committed. The bloodshed must end. Peace must prevail.”

Turning to domestic politics, he distanced the government from the PTI’s internal matters:

“If PTI wants Gandapur out or dissolve the KP Assembly — that’s their business. There’s no threat from us. Their biggest threat is themselves.”

Sanaullah also threw shade on PTI’s legal stumbles: “Did Justice Qazi Faez Isa tell them not to file documents? Or make them submit those affidavits?”

Khawaja Asif Echoes: “Pakistan Won’t Dance to US Tune”

Just days earlier, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif made it clear:

“If we’re pressured to join the Abraham Accords, we’ll prioritize Pakistan’s interests. We won’t toe any policy that hurts us.”

Asif confirmed that consultations are underway but warned,

“We’ll respond when the time comes — not before. Our decisions will reflect what’s best for Pakistan.”
