In a major education reform, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced on Wednesday that 14,000 public sector schools will be outsourced.
At an event in Lahore, Maryam praised the education ministry’s efforts, stating, “We have taken several steps to improve the quality of education in schools. The government is working to provide relief to the masses.”
She emphasized the need for a public-private partnership to address school issues.
Maryam also alleged Rs1 billion in corruption in the Punjab Text Book Board during the PTI government and called for a case against the former PTI education minister.
“We’ll be able to transform the education sector,”
