Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed his government’s determination, alongside the Armed Forces, to eliminate terrorism from Pakistan.
Addressing the federal cabinet meeting in Islamabad, he strongly condemned the recent terrorist attacks in Balochistan and other regions, which claimed the lives of civilians and security personnel.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the sacrifices made by both the public and the military in combating terrorism will not be in vain.
He assured that all necessary resources will be allocated to the Armed Forces to tackle terrorism effectively.
While the government remains open to dialogue with those who support Pakistan and its constitution, it will not engage with terrorists or enemies of the state.
In recent incidents, at least 38 people, including police and Levies personnel, were killed in Balochistan’s Kalat, Musakhel, and Bolan districts.
In Kalat, eight individuals, including a police sub-inspector and four Levies personnel, lost their lives in attacks reported on Sunday night.
