In an unusual display of financial restraint, Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh claimed that no federal minister has received a salary in the past year, covering their own expenses instead.
Speaking on a TV channel, Sheikh stated that cabinet members are personally paying for their electricity, gas, and travel costs, including fuel.
