Sindh High Court Grills K-Electric Over Loadshedding

-

The Sindh High Court expressed strong displeasure over unannounced load shedding in Karachi and ordered K-Electric to submit a detailed report. During the hearing of a citizen’s petition, Justice Agha Faisal remarked,

“Do whatever you have to, but submit a proper report on unannounced load shedding.”

The petitioner stated that residents regularly pay their bills on time, face no line losses, and yet continue to suffer power cuts. “There are no defaulters in our area, yet we face hours-long outages,” he added.

In response, K-Electric assured the court that the issue raised by the petitioner would be resolved within a few days.
