KARACHI– Commissioner Syed Hassan Naqvi announced the enforcement of Section 144 in Karachi from December 31 to January 1.
The measure, aimed at regulating New Year celebrations, prohibits celebratory firing and fireworks during this period.
The notification warned of strict action against violators and instructed police to ensure the effective implementation of the restrictions.
