Regent Plaza Hotel Transformed into SIUT for New Hospital Development

-

Pakistan Hotel Development Limited (PHDL) has completed a landmark deal with the Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT), signaling a major advancement for healthcare in Karachi.

This Tuesday, PHDL transferred the Regent Plaza Hotel to SIUT, aiming to expand the institute’s facilities.

The formal agreement was signed with key legal and financial representatives from both parties, including SIUT founder and Director Professor Adib Rizvi and Trustee Shabbar Zaidi.

Finalized in July for Rs14.5 billion, the deal will convert the hotel into a hospital and improve patient access due to its central location and proximity to public transport.
