Mobile Phone Services Partially Suspended in Several Karachi Areas

-

Mobile phone services and internet connectivity have experienced significant disruptions in various regions of Karachi.

Reports indicate that several key areas, including M.A. Jinnah Road, II Chundrigar Road, Clifton, Shahrah-e-Faisal, and neighborhoods near the Lyari Expressway, are affected.

In response to the situation, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori convened a meeting to discuss security measures in Karachi. During the meeting, he instructed police officials to implement effective and coordinated security protocols for the upcoming religious gatherings featuring the prominent scholar Dr. Zakir Naik.

The Governor also emphasized the need to develop a comprehensive plan to manage traffic flow in the city as part of the security arrangements for Dr. Naik’s arrival.
