The court has granted interim bail to Danish Iqbal, husband of Natasha Danish, the primary suspect in the Karsaz accident case.
Iqbal was required to post a surety bond of Rs 100,000.
The court has asked all involved parties to submit responses by September 6. Danish Iqbal’s bail application was approved by the city court, and notices were issued to the state’s counsel, the investigation officer, and other respondents regarding Natasha’s bail plea.
Natasha Danish, who is currently in judicial custody, is accused of causing the death of Amna Arif and Imran Arif and injuring five others in the Karsaz area. Reports indicate she was under the influence of crystal meth at the time of the incident.
The SUV involved in the accident was captured on CCTV footage, showing it speeding and hitting several vehicles, ultimately leading to the fatal crash.
