A former software engineer in Karachi fatally stabbed the CEO of a company due to a dispute over unpaid salary, according to police.
The suspect, identified as Shabbir, had been demanding his wages from the company’s head office. He entered Naveed’s office on Wednesday evening and, after an argument, attacked the CEO with a sharp object.
The CEO, Naveed, tried to flee but collapsed in the building’s basement. Despite being rushed to a hospital, he died from his injuries. Shabbir, who was arrested at the scene with the weapon, is a former employee of the company.
