Karachi Police Unveils Robust Security Plan for Rabi-ul-Awal Procession

-

Karachi Police have introduced an extensive security strategy for the upcoming 12th Rabi-ul-Awal procession to ensure public safety.

The plan includes the deployment of 4,332 police officers and personnel along key routes to maintain order during the event.

At the central venue in Nishtar Park, around 450 officers will be stationed to manage security for the main procession.

Additionally, 160 police vehicles, including 70 motorcycles and 76 mobile units, will patrol the streets to ensure safety across the city. The Special Security Unit (SSU) will also be on alert for rapid response if necessary.

To minimize traffic disruptions, alternative routes have been set up for the day. Karachi Police urged citizens to cooperate with security personnel to ensure the peaceful and orderly conduct of the procession.
