German Consulate in Karachi Stops Visa Service

-

The German Consulate in Karachi has suspended visa services for non-European citizens due to security concerns. This announcement was made via the consulate’s social media platforms.

The consulate clarified that Pakistani citizens with already processed visas can still collect them, but new visa applications from non-European nationals will not be processed until further notice.

This sudden closure has left many Pakistani citizens, including students, business travelers, and tourists, uncertain about their travel plans and visa applications.

The German Consulate has not provided specific details about the security issues behind this decision or a timeline for when services might resume.

“We regret the inconvenience caused and urge affected individuals to stay updated through our official communication channels,” the statement read.
