Eight Bottled Water Brands Banned by Sindh Food Authority

The Sindh Food Authority has immediately banned the production and supply of eight brands of bottled water due to their poor quality, which is deemed unsafe for drinking.

According to a notification (#4071/2018) from the Director General of the Sindh Food Authority, and based on recommendations from the Pakistan Council of Research in Water Resources, the following brands are now banned

  • Pure Aqua (Karachi),
  • Medlen Premium (Tandojam/Hyderabad),
  • Aqua Fine (Tando Jam/Hyderabad)
  • Livon (Karachi), Zam (Tandojam/Hyderabad),
  • Aqua Gold (Tando Jam/Hyderabad),
  • Pure 18 (Karachi)
  • Aab e Noor (Karachi)

These brands can no longer be produced, supplied, or sold anywhere in the province. Producers, suppliers, and sellers who ignore this ban will face strict legal action.

Consumers are advised to be cautious and report any remaining supplies of these brands to the authorities.
