Towards Digital Sindh – Excise Department Ventures into Online Payment System

-

Sindh’s Excise Department, led by Senior Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, has resolved to implement an online taxation system, integrating it with One Link for enhanced accessibility.

During a recent meeting, Memon emphasized the importance of meeting targets for property and professional taxes, directing rigorous measures against non-compliant employees.

Notably, notices have been issued to 82 officers for failing to meet targets.

Memon further instructed the swift initiation of online payment mechanisms to streamline the tax process, emphasizing the integration with One Link for public convenience.

This move aligns with broader efforts towards digitalization, echoing Sindh Police’s recent decision to introduce online services for home delivery of driving licenses.
