A 100-Bed Hospital to Launch in Islamabad

-

Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi has announced a major healthcare initiative in Islamabad with the laying of the foundation stone for a cutting-edge 100-bed international hospital.

This project, a collaboration between the National Police Foundation (NPF) and a Turkish company, aims to significantly enhance health services for both police personnel and the public.

The NPF has provided the land, while a Turkish firm is investing Rs5 billion in the venture. Naqvi highlighted that this initiative marks a major milestone for the revitalized NPF under MD Sabir Ahmed.

Funds from this project and others by the NPF will be directed towards the welfare of police officers and the families of martyrs.

Naqvi also announced upcoming joint projects with the Capital Development Authority and emphasized the NPF’s broader efforts, including a completed housing project in Hyderabad and ongoing renovations at the National Police Academy.
