Due to the recent cold wave, Karachi is set to experience a significant drop in temperature and will make it Chilly Weekend, with a minimum expected to reach 11°C on Sunday. According to the Meteorological Department, the city will stay dry until Sunday, and cold nights will bring temperatures between 11 and 13°C.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department also reported that Karachi saw a minimum temperature of 16.5°C on Friday, while on Thursday, December 5, it dropped to 4.3°C, which contributed to the 16.5°C reading.
Looking ahead, the Meteorological Department forecasts that a light cold wave will affect Sindh starting December 8. In upper Sindh, the minimum temperature at night is expected to range between 7 and 9°C, while in central Sindh, it will range from 9 to 11°C, and in southern Sindh, it will be between 10 and 12°C.
Upper Sindh may also experience fog in the mornings along with the cold nights.
